We focus on building community and team spirit among our employees. In doing so, we strive to create harmony in our day-to-day work, but we also want our colleagues to be part of a cohesive team where they feel at home. Throughout the year we organise a number of activities to strengthen the bond between our employees.

TEAM BUILDING COMPANY DAY

Every year, we set aside a day to get away from work and just have fun. We strive to organise a varied set of activities, the most popular of which include an in-house football tournament, a cooking competition and a raffle, but of course a delicious lunch is also part of the repertoire. We also have a surprise performer for each event. Throughout the day, our staff can also take part in small games, competitions and knowledge tests. We can safely say that a good atmosphere is always guaranteed!

CHRISTMAS DINNER

It has become a tradition in our company to end the year together with a Christmas dinner. However, our employees do not only enjoy the delicious food, but also the surprise programs organized for them. One of the most important moments of the evening is the recognition of the work of our colleagues who have been working for us for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years, as well as the awarding of our colleague voted “employee of the year”.

PIG SLAUGHTER

With the intention of creating a tradition, we organised our first pig slaughter in 2021, which was just as successful in 2022 as before. During the event, our team leaders, middle and senior managers will be able to get a taste of how the meat is processed, and how pork cheese and sausages are made. Our experienced colleagues, accompanied by an external expert, are always happy to mentor them. Of course, no one goes home hungry either! The meat is used to make fantastic dishes for dinner.

EXECUTIVE BRIEFING

Keeping constant communication with our employees is important to us, so at the end of each quarter we hold a management briefing for all our colleagues on the current state of the company, the previous quarter’s targets and their fulfilment, and upcoming events. At the end of the employee forum, everyone has the opportunity to ask questions.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

At the end of each year, our colleagues democratically elect the Employee of the Year. The choice between the candidates is made by a panel of employees from all areas of our company. The committee members vote in December to decide who will win the Employee of the Year award and the recognition that goes with it.

PYLON PILLAR PROGRAMME

We value all our colleagues, everyone is an important part of the company’s life, but we also wanted to reward those who stand out in some way for their professional knowledge and experience and exemplary work. To this end, we launched the Pylon Pillar Programme in 2022.

PPP members are re-elected every year, so even those who were not elected the previous year have the opportunity to join the programme.

Members receive cash prizes and gifts, and our company also organises professional trips for them twice a year. They also have the opportunity to participate in company forums twice a year, where they are informed about current happenings and have the opportunity to express their opinion and comments in an informal discussion, which we rely on and build on.
